Who makes Gridelo
Gridelo is made by Arthur, an independent developer in Brazil. It is a small project built and run by one person.
Why it exists
Movie trivia is more fun when it asks you to connect things: an actor, a director, a decade, a country. A 3×3 grid does that in a few minutes a day.
The daily grid is the same for everyone, so you can compare notes with friends. The rarer your answer, the better your score.
One family of grid games
cine.gridelo is the movie edition. fut.gridelo, a football edition built on the same idea, is coming soon.
Where the data comes from
Films, people and their credits come from Wikidata (CC0) and Wikipedia. The game never calls them while you play: the catalog is loaded ahead of time and checked on our own server.

How the site is paid for
The site shows ads on content pages such as How to play and past grids. There are no ads on the board while you play a grid or a match.
You can also leave a tip on Ko-fi, which we call a popcorn. It is optional and nothing is locked behind it.
